1. Open outlook 13 or outlook 16 on your desktop.
2. Now click the file menu.
3. Next select ‘Account Settings’ by clicking the ‘Account Settings’ button.
4. Then click ‘New’
5. Now select the email account radio button.
6. Click ‘Next’ after that.
7. You need to select ‘Manual setup or additional server types’ and then proceed ‘Next’.
8. After selecting POP or IMAP, click ‘Next’.
9. Now enter all the required information like your name and email address, including @comcast.net segment of your email.
10. Now select the IMAP in the Account Type: field
11. Then enter imap.comcast.net into the Incoming mail server: field.
12. Now Enter smtp.comcast.net into the Outgoing mail server (SMTP): field.
13. Then confirm your ID has been entered into the username: field.
14. Your password will be entered in your password field.
15. Next you click on ‘More Settings’.
16. Now click on the ‘Outgoing Server’ tab.
17. Go to the check-box for ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. 
18. Then confirm the radio button for ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected. 
19. After that click the Advanced tab. 
20. Now enter 993 in the IMAP.
21. Select SSL.
22. In the outgoing server (SMTP) enter 587.
23.  Now select TLS for the ‘Use the following type of encrypted connection’.
24. Click ‘OK’.
25. Then, click next. 
26. When the test completes, click ‘Close’.
27. Click ‘Finish’ and then click ‘Close’.

Comcast for iPhone

1. Go and tap on the Home Screen of your iPhone.
2. Now tap on the Mail client option.
3. Then tap on Accounts. 
4. Then tap on Add Mail Account.
5. On the Add Account screen, tap Other.
6. Now type in all your credentials on the New Account and then tap Next.
7. All the information provided by you will be verified. If the credentials are correct, then your Comcast will configure.

1. The first step is to tap the email app on your phone.

3. On the Account Setup screen and enter your email address and password.
4. Then tap Sign In.
5. Now enter your Xfinity password, then sign in.
6. Now you have to verify and sign in.
7. Now enter the code which you will receive by ‘receive a code by text message’.
8. Congratulations! Now you are signed in.
