As told in his May GQ cover story,

I believe in the energy of the universe and manifestation. That’s why I’m giving myself, because I’m willing to correct myself. I don’t want to just…be wrong. , presents “The Tale of the Toxic King,” a fantasy tale of love and betrayal. Drizzly stars as a hero in shining armor who saves his love from captivity, while Future’s love interest leaves him a note that reads, “I doth funded it humorous.” The video concludes with Future sending his own note, complete with extravagant sets and many sword battles. His note states, “I am goaded adored.” “Enjoyed.”
Singer-songwriter Moxie Raina, model Cede Rose, producer ATL Jacob, rapper Stick, and comedian Trey Richards all appear in the video.
The “Wait for U” video was
released just a few weeks after Future released the deluxe edition of I Never Liked You, which included six more tracks.
